Valentine’s Day Beach Style

February 8, 2016

I’ve always been a little underwhelmed with Valentine’s Day. Restaurants are crowded, flowers are overpriced, and prix-fixed menus annoy me. Since we live on an island, I’ve come up with a few stress-free Valentine’s Day beach ideas and styles – just add rum.

Casual: Champagne Stroll

Throw on an adorable swim coverup and accessorize with a cute anklet and sandals before you grab a towel, a bottle of bubbly, and some shatterproof glasses and hit the beach for a sunset stroll and toast.

Active: Beach Cruising

It’s no secret that two of my favorite beach activities are volleyball and ATVing. Add to that my favorite person and you have yourself a fun day. Pack a basket with some easy snacks, gear up with this cute rash guard and my choice sunglasses (I have 2 pairs — just in case) and jet around town, stopping at different beach spots and playing a game.

1. The Beach Glass 2. Vans Tortoise Shell Sunglasses 3. Swim Zip Circle Towel in “Ocean Blues” 4. Picnic Time Canaste Picnic Basket 5. Wine.com A Cut Above Gift Box 6. Wilson I-Core Mini Pink Game Volleyball 7. Swim Zip Short Sleeve Rash Guard

Romantical: City Evening

Slip on a cute maxi dress throw your camera in your clutch and hit the town. Hold hands, explore, and share an ice cream or a beer. There’s something very romantical about walking around an old town with your Valentine.

How are you spending your Valentine’s Day this year?

P.S. one paragraph challenge: how I met your father and looking for someone that things you are magic
